Santa Claus and Reindeer Romp

Description

Join the Scott County Family YMCA for a fun, active, and healthy event during the holiday season. On Saturday, December 1, they are hosting their annual Santa Claus 5K run/walk and 1 mile Reindeer Romp run/walk. This event is for children, adults, and families to do. Participants can choose to run/walk in the 5K or they can choose the 1 mile Reindeer Romp. Race day registration will be available. All participants can get their picture taken Santa. All events will begin at 9:00 am on December 1 with registration and packet pick-up beginning at 8;00 am. For participants 12 and over, registration is $20 and for participants 12 and under, registration is $12. Those interested can participate in the 1 mile Reindeer Romp with no t-shirt for $2.

Proceeds from this event will enable the Y to continue to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social  responsibility in the community. Those interested can register online through the online registration link on the website.
